The thinking skill for project two was perspective.
This project had the shortest timeline to get things done. We only had two weeks and three days to work. I didn't really have a topic right away until I scrolled through instagram. My half-sister had a (recent at the time) posted a picture of herself and her boyfriend. The post celebrated her 1 year annyiversity on a whole-food, plant-based diet. She also mentioned her new instagram page about her journey on a whole-food, plant-based life.
"A whole-food, plant based diet? What is that?" I didn't do much research on this eating change, but early on I decided that I wanted to participate in that way of eating.

What is Whole-Food, Plant-Based Eating?
This way of eating is commonly mistaken as a diet. A diet that makes you lose weight is only short term. WFPB eating a way of life. As in the title of eating, you eat whole foods, or foods that haven't been heavily processed. Obviously, you are able to consume plants too.

English
A product for English wasn't that hard to think of. I honestly wasn't serious about putting myself on a WFPB way of eating, but it was too good of an idea to give up. The idea would as help show perspective on how a WFPB "diet" is affecting me. As I had meals and restrained myself from temptation, I would write what I ate, how much I ate, and what was the ingredients of my meals. I hand wrote my process in a journal, then on the last day of the diet, I transfer all of my data onto my blog.
The blog page was made from the website "Blogger." I have used that website for another class, so I was slightly experience with it. The website was easy to use, but it does limit your creativity. I looked at other blogs as reference, and they look nice and clean. Mine on the other hand, not so much...

Art
Brainstorming an idea for my art piece was somewhat difficult. I didn't think this topic would be taken seriously if I painted something that represented perspective in dieting. After incubation, I got inspiration from a group member. Their topic was about modern day vlogging/entertainment on YouTube. I wanted to do something similar. I decided that I wanted to make a vlog about my journey, it would be more entertaining than the blog to some.

I give sooo much credit to anyone who can record their dieting process. It's hard because I have to worry about what I'm eating and I also have to remember to record each day.

History
My history and my english were mixed together for this project. I decided that I would write about my thoughts and feelings for each day on my diet.
My research consisted of analyzing humans going through hunger. I also researched why people usually fail when on a diet. The reason is people try to tell themselves not to think about a certain food they can't have, then that's all they can think about. Another reason why dieting fails is that people cut out important food groups. You can't survive on only meat and fruit.
